On January 23rd, 2022, Khaleej Times covered Seena’s 2,022 Devil’s Press challenge - a fear never before accomplished, to raise awareness of mental strength and discipline. The entire challenge was live-streamed from beginning to end on TikTok. It took Seena 9 hours and 32 minutes to complete 2,022 Devil’s Presses with 20 kg of weight. He had one rule - do not step off the mat until he finished.
“I hope this will inspire people, and especially young people in the new generation, that anything you set your mind to can be done. But don’t only believe it, take action on it. And stay strong. Stay consistent. Don’t let people distract you, and most importantly accept pain as just something normal that happens during the journey. There will be times when every part of your body (soul, mind, body) are all telling you that you can’t go further, that you need to pause. That maybe today is not your day. There will be times when your own self will convince you that you should stop. That’s when you take one deep breath in and throw that thought out the window. You’ll notice it disappears and you’re back to where you paused. The most repetitive sentence that ran through my mind throughout the challenge was “just finish it”.” - Seena Akbary
